Natalie is a professional coach , facilitator and organizational development consultant, working with teams and individuals. She focuses on team alignment, leadership development, organisational culture, employee engagement and talent management. With past experience in the education field, she has also tapped into dynamic ways of learning that focus on empowering people to think independently and to develop capability for analysis and application.

Natalie is passionate about personal growth and transformation and is deeply committed to walking this path with her clients, through self-discovery , self-awareness and self-empowerment. Ultimately leading to changes in behaviour and the satisfaction that comes with discovering and extending our unique potential.

Coaching Experience

Natalie completed her postgraduate studies nine years ago and has been coaching within varying capacities and environments, ever since including large corporations, in financial services, manufacturing and mining, start-up entrepreneurial environments and personal development context.

At the core of my coaching lies belief in the innate resilience and incredible potential of human beings. With this understanding as a starting point, I use variety of approaches and tools to facilitate clients while they navigate the unpredictable waters of self-awareness personal growth and leadership development in professional and personal contexts. My aim is always to strike just the right balance between supporting and challenging individuals in this space. I understand my role as coach in fluidity, depending on what is presented in the moment and what the client needs at different stages of learning. It is my job to help my clients think with greater clarity in a relationship characterized by non-judgement. While, simultaneously providing truthful, sometimes difficult feedback to enable authentic growth.

Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and English, with an Honours degree in English literature, from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa

Professional profile

Mamatebele is a seasoned Human Resources Professional, known and respected by colleagues and specialist practitioners in the fields of Organisational Development, Change Leadership, Talent Management and Leadership Development. She has led and implemented large scale change leadership interventions in large South African organisations in the FMCG and Financial Services sectors. She is experienced in business coaching and group facilitation, focusing on team alignment, strategy implementation and business planning, at various organisational levels and in a variety of work environments.

Mamatebele is proficient in applying Organisational Development principles to effect large scale change and is particularly successful in systemic diagnosis and producing sustainable business solutions. She headed up the Change Management Work stream for a significant strategic business project within a South African blue chip company. She also introduced talent management as a philosophy and a way of managing talent, created structures, systems and processes for the implementation of a talent management strategy in a large South African organisation.

Five years of executive coaching experience as a leadership consultant across a number of private and public industry sectors. Seven years of business coaching as a Human Resources Professional within the FMCG and Financial services industry as an internal organisational coach.

I combine an analytical and practical approach, using business acumen and an interest and expertise in personal development, to support clients both develop and implement sustainable business and personal leadership development interventions. My particular interest lies in building leadership capability in equity professionals within corporate environments.
